Chakra Clearing

The seven chakras for beginners is a good clear resource that is a good place to start if you don’t know what chakras are or if you have heard of them before but you want a little more information.

I took this from the website linked above, it’s a good, clear resource.

If you are an aficionado of chakra work or chakras in general or more specifically chakra clearings you should absolutely check out the Sunday night chakra clearings that are run by Rose from Live by Design and Marita from The Path of IX- (which is pronounced The Path of eesh). They have a FaceBook group called Ice Cream Sunday with Nougats of Truth and it really is a remarkable way to get your chakras cleansed or, if you’re on time or early (because people get there and ask immediately and the schedule fills up quickly) get a single card reading. Next Sunday night at 6pm Pacific time hop on FB and watch them live, and interact with people who are like minded while they tell you about your chakras. Why ice cream? They said it is because using ice cream is a more playful way to address chakra clearings. I mean, who doesn’t love ice cream?

If you are thinking to yourself “I love the idea but my co-workers are on my FB page” no worries. The group is private so only the people who join the group can see what’s being posted. However, if you really want to keep it to yourself and keep the group small you can try to join their other FaceBook group for a small fee, the Ice Cream Social Group. It started on March 28th but you may still be able to get in.

Obviously there are dozens of people and places that offer these services but most of them are extremely pricey and some of them are not exactly the kind of people you can trust. Marita and Rose are trustworthy and very genuine. Incidentally, I get no kickbacks or any kind of deal for mentioning them. I just know what has worked for me and I want to share that information.

So chakras…there are seven of them and from what I can tell my throat chakra is the one, for me at least, that seems to keep coming up as being in need of attention. I don’t know what you’ll hear if you start to study yours, but whatever it is I’d love you to come back and leave me a message so we can compare notes!

The throat chakra is the fifth chakra and it represents the passage of the energy between the lower parts of the body and the head. The throat chakra is principally related to expression and communication. Which is something I’m not always good at so I can see where this would come up. Don’t misunderstand me, writing is what I love. I could write all day. But talking? Well, that can be dicey depending on the topic. So during my last chakra cleansing I heard about my throat and the corn paleta, the word ‘paleta’ translates to a frozen fruit popsicle, flavor Marita was getting. She talked about a bunch of things, too many to go into here, but what I walked away with was a wish to have a lovely fresh fruit popsicle. As an aside, did you know corn is a vegetable, a whole grain, and a fruit? I certainly didn’t until I went and looked it up afterwards.

Focus girl, focus. The weather has me distracted today!

So I left the chakra cleansing with a craving for a yummy popsicle but also for a way to dig deeper into my chakras and the things my intuitive mind would produce when I didn’t have to say it out loud to someone else but could express myself in a different way. Like through art…

Which is why my next adventure will be a combination of Biofield Tuning and Art Therapy. I can’t wait!
